The pictures I have attached are mostly bruises from the way security carried me out, with additional cuts and scrapes from him throwing me on the cement. I am seriously so disappointed, bouncers should be trained how to deal with guests properly and not abuse their power. I talked to a manager who seemed really understanding and said she would investigate and give me a call back but never did. I was terrified and had an awful experience.
My friends came out to see where I went and witnessed all of it. He then started calling me a f***** (homophobic slur) several times. Me on the cement, then proceeded to punch me in the forehead and side of the face. To make matters worse, I kid you not, the drinks were served in little plastic cups that are typically used for water coolers! You couldn't pay me to go back to NOTO. I get this is a club, I'm okay paying $60 for three well-drinks somehwere else, but this is Philly, don't try to be something you're not. The guy bartender (I didn't get his name) was just as much living up to the ego thing as Bree. Along with two other of my buddies, we actually were so turned off with the rudeness and eventual lack of attention that we just gave our paying friend our cut of the bill and left the table area to go over to the bar and get drinks from there. Hate to say, but if I want to look at half naked women, I'll go to a strip club where albiet fake, the girls are at least friendly (because they know their income depends on it!)! Her comments and agressive physical manner when pushing my buddies out of the way was just uncalled for. I will never understand why some bartenders, bottle girls, and bouncers not only get an inflatted ego over their role, but also think their job gives them a license to be rude and not treat customers well. We then told our waitress Bree (or Breeanna or whatever her real name is) about our issue and she was rude and unprofessional. We had a table and for the amount we paid for private area, you would think it would be just us, but other tables by us with way too many people kept coming into our area which caused problems and near fights.
Was definitley impressed with the sound system and lighting, especially since I work in the film industry - definitley top quality work. Further, I wish you could give stars based on various aspects of the club because certain things were great, some were okay, and some were awful. We plan on going back Thanksgiving Week! _ First of all, I never write reviews whether I have a great or bad experience somewhere, but I thought my first (and last) and last trip to NOTO was reason enough to break my trend. Uple of other people working there (a security guard and host at the door) who seemed like they shouldn't be working in customer service because of their shortness and mannerisms, but our overall experience was good enought that we looked past these few outliers.
